This Privacy Policy explains how Bharat Digital ("FitLife India", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use our Yoga, Pilates, and Muscles apps, website, and related services. We act as a Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. Overview
This policy applies to FitLife India users in India and globally. By using our services, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed as described here.
2. Data We Collect
Account and identity data
Name, email address, and phone number.
Fitness and app usage data
Workout history, fitness preferences, body measurements, AI coaching interactions, and app activity data.
Optional data
Progress photos and location information, if you choose to provide them.
Payment data
Payments are handled by Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking). We receive transaction references, status, and limited billing metadata, not full card details.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Service delivery: account creation, app functionality, subscription management, and customer support.
- Personalization: AI workout plans, diet recommendations, and exercise form analysis.
- Safety and fraud prevention: abuse monitoring, security controls, and dispute management.
- Legal and compliance: tax, accounting, and lawful requests.
Our legal basis under DPDP is primarily your consent, along with processing needed to provide contracted services and comply with applicable law.
4. Consent and Withdrawal
We request consent through in-app prompts, onboarding checkboxes, and settings controls. You can withdraw consent at any time by updating privacy controls in-app or contacting dpo@fitlifeindia.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal.
6. Cross-Border Transfers
Some processors may operate outside India. When cross-border transfers occur, we apply commercially reasonable safeguards and contractual protections, and follow Indian legal requirements for international data transfers.
7. Data Retention
- Account profile data: retained while your account is active.
- Workout and fitness history: retained for up to 24 months after inactivity.
- Payment and invoice records: retained up to 8 years for tax/compliance needs.
- Support logs: typically retained for 12 months.
- Optional photos/location: retained until you delete them or request erasure.
We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer required for the stated purposes.
9. Children and Minors
FitLife India is intended for users aged 18 or above. Users under 18 may use the service only with verified parent or lawful guardian consent. If we learn that minor data was collected without required consent, we will take steps to delete or restrict that data.
10. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate or outdated personal data
- Erasure of personal data
- Data portability in a structured format, where applicable
- Withdrawal of consent for specific processing activities
